MITCHELL — The Mitchell Community Schools Board of Trustees will meet in an executive session on Monday, June 8, 2026, to discuss personnel matters and consult with legal counsel.
The session will begin at the Mitchell Community Schools Administration Center at 441 North 8th St. immediately following the board’s 6:00 p.m. regular session.
According to a notice released Thursday by Board President Krystal Shetler, the executive session will be held to address three specific agenda items under Indiana Code:
- To receive information about and interview prospective employees.
- To discuss the job performance evaluation of individual employees.
- To hold communications with an attorney that are subject to the attorney-client privilege.
The five-member Board of Trustees includes elected officials Patrick Redman, Steve Burton, and Kyle Endris, whose terms run from Jan. 1, 2025, through Dec. 31, 2028. They serve alongside Chris Shaw and Krystal Shetler, whose terms run from Jan. 1, 2023, through Dec. 31, 2026.
In accordance with Indiana law governing executive sessions, this meeting will be closed to the public.
