Obituary: Pamela Sue Terrell


August 10, 1944 – May 13, 2026

Pamela Sue Terrell, 81, of Mitchell, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Redcrest Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born August 10, 1944, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Hubert and Pearl (Eggers) Craig. She married Bill Terrell on February 28, 2022, and he survives. She worked as a switchboard operator at Bell Telephone Co. and later as a field engineer for ATT. She was a member of Bedford Boat and Sportsman’s Club, Mitchell American Legion Auxiliary Post 250, Eagles Auxiliary in Shoals, and L.C.C in Lillian, Alabama.

She is survived by her husband, Bill, of Mitchell; two daughters, Kammi (Tim) Kern-Deckard of Bedford, and Bobbi Kern-Wigley; three grandchildren, Eric (Sara) Tumey of TN, Frankie (Nathan) Daggy of Bedford, Ethan Meadows of Bedford; four great-grandchildren, Mason Everage, Dayton Everage, Izabella Everage, and Marcus Meadows; two stepchildren, Jason (Kim) Terrell of Mitchell, Christy (James)Terrell-Kirk of Mitchell; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, and brothers-in-law, Marcella and Roy Baker, Jean and Wayne Baker, Lovella and Bert Fodrill, a brother, Kenneth Craig, and a stepdaughter, Melissa Terrell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 16th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary, with Mark Fish officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15th, at Day & Carter Mortuary.
