BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Commissioners have announced a change to their regular meeting schedule for the upcoming week. The board will now convene on Monday, May 4, rather than their typical Tuesday slot.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be held in the Commissioners’ Room at the Lawrence County Courthouse in downtown Bedford.
The shift in schedule is due to the Primary Election, which takes place on Tuesday, May 5. County government offices often adjust meeting times during election cycles to accommodate the use of public buildings as polling sites and to allow county staff to assist with election-related duties.
