MARION — Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) announced the appointment of Andy Miller, Ph.D., as executive vice president of IWU National and Global (N&G), the university’s online division serving primarily adult learners and more than 12,000 students. In this role, Miller will provide strategic leadership for N&G and serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet, reporting directly to the university president.

Miller succeeds Eileen Hulme, Ph.D., who has served as chancellor of N&G since January 2022 and will retire effective June 1, 2026. He steps into the role after working closely with Hulme, building on the strong foundation of innovation, enrollment growth, and mission-driven impact established during her tenure.
“Andy has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and a deep commitment to our Christ-centered mission,” said Jon Kulaga, Ph.D., president of IWU. “His ability to drive innovation, strengthen partnerships, and expand access to high-quality education positions IWU National and Global for continued growth and impact. I am confident in his leadership as we continue to scale our online presence and move into this next phase of growth.”
Since joining IWU in 2019 as associate vice president of educational partnerships, Miller has demonstrated leadership and vision throughout his time at the university. He expanded enrollment through strategic partnerships with churches and nonprofits, most notably through the development of the Bridge Initiative.
Among his key contributions, Miller helped redesign enrollment processes to improve responsiveness and strengthen the experience of prospective students. He has also played a central role in shaping the university’s artificial intelligence strategy, positioning IWU to adapt to a rapidly changing higher education landscape. His most recent responsibilities included N&G enrollment, partnerships, technology, operations, and international student programs.
“IWU National and Global exists to make transformational, Christ-centered education accessible to working students across the nation and around the world,” Miller said. “That mission is as urgent as ever, and I am honored to help lead N&G forward. We will continue to innovate, build meaningful partnerships, and invest in the student experience.”
Before joining IWU, Miller built a career in higher education focused on online learning, regional education, church-based extension sites and strategic partnerships. He has served the broader higher education community as a researcher, consultant, accreditation evaluator and faculty member, consistently delivering strong enrollment growth and financial performance.
Miller earned his Ph.D. in higher education from Azusa Pacific University and holds an MBA, an M.A. in ministerial leadership and a B.S. in pastoral ministries from Southeastern University. His contributions have been recognized with numerous honors, including IWU’s Presidential Award for Outstanding Leadership in August 2024.
Miller and his wife, Rachael, are the parents of Grace, who will attend IWU in the fall, and Noah.
