PENDLETON – Trooper Matt Dickerson was recognized for his outstanding commitment to impaired driving enforcement as he received the 2025 Top DUI Award for the Pendleton District during the Indiana State Police Awards Ceremony held on April 21, 2026.
The award was presented by Superintendent Anthony Scott and is presented annually to recognize a trooper who has exhibited exceptional efforts in the detection, apprehension, and enforcement of impaired driving laws.
Trooper Matt Dickerson is a seven-year veteran of the Indiana State Police, having graduated from the 78th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy in 2018. Â He is primarily assigned to the north patrol zone of the Pendleton District, which includes the counties of Madison, Delaware, and Rush. Â
Throughout his career, Trooper Dickerson has demonstrated a strong commitment to removing impaired drivers from Indiana roadways, making this the second time he has received the Top DUI award for the Pendleton District.
