Melissa Dawn Kern, 53, of Williams, passed away on April 14, 2026, at The Redcrest
Hospice House in Bloomington.
She was born on November 7, 1972, to Valerie Mikels and the late David Bock. Melissa enjoyed going to concerts.
Those surviving to cherish Melissa’s memory are her children, Zane Grissom and Kennah Kern; her mother, Valerie Mikels; her sisters, Brandee Shelton and Leah Prince; her brother, Bradly Armstrong; aunt, Lisa Mikels, and uncle, Terry Mikels; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her father, David Bock, and her brother, David Burton.
Cremation was chosen.
