Carl Taylor, 85, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 8, 1941, in Hickory Grove, he was the son of Wilburn and Goldia (Lewis) Taylor. He married Patricia Bunch, and she preceded him in death. Carl was a US Army Veteran and worked at Hall’s Sawmill. He loved riding motorcycles, spending time with his family, and being outdoors.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Prewitt and Ruth Taylor; nephews Mark, Charles, Joseph, Mathew, Douglas, Jerry, Jordan, Derrick, Payton, Seth, Rodney, James, Blaine, Elijah; nieces Mattisyn, McKenzie, Kimberly, Lisa, and Olivia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, his parents, and his brothers Dale, Gale, Dean, Ed, Danny, Gene, and John, and a nephew, Paul Prewitt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 16th, at Hickory Grove Church in Norman. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday at Hickory Grove Church.
