MORGAN COUNTY – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Superior Construction Inc. is beginning a bridge deck overlay project on State Road 67 over White Lick Creek today, April 6, south of Mooresville.
Work will take place on S.R. 67 between Indiana Street and Pleiades Drive and is expected to be complete at this location in early September, weather permitting. During the project, northbound and southbound S.R. 67 will be reduced to one lane.
An additional bridge deck overlay project will begin on S.R. 67 at a later date. INDOT will provide additional updates via Salesforce, Facebook, and X.
This project is part of a $3.4 million contract awarded to Superior Construction in September 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
