Marilyn “Sue” Meadows, 88, of Bedford, passed away on March 30, 2026, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Sue was born on April 9, 1937, to Forrest and Anna (Jackson) Inman. Sue married Virgil R. Meadows, who preceded her in death on April 10, 2001. Sue retired from the Citizens National Bank in Bedford after more than 30 years of service. She then managed the Senior Citizens in Bedford for several years.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Meadows and Robbie Meadows, six grandchildren, Christy (Bill) Norris, Brandy (Jamie) Bell, Heather (Thomas) Sargent, Andrew (Emi Yamanaka) Meadows, Phillip Meadows, and Bryan Meadows, six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, nieces, Susie Jarman, and Melanie Inman Rainey, and several nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgil R. Meadows, two sons, Bryan Meadows and James Meadows, and one daughter-in-law, Lisa Meadows.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home.
