SPENCER COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 62 in Spencer County.
Beginning on or around Tuesday, April 7, crews will close State Road 62 near Gentryville. The road closure will occur between County Road 1350 N and County Road 1250 N.
This road closure will allow for a box structure replacement project. Work is expected to last through Mid-May, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is State Road 161 to State Road 68 to U.S. 231. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
