Kevin L. Andis, 55, of Springville, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 13, 1970, in Bedford, he was the son of Hubert L and Yolanda (Jenkins) Andis. He married Lora Stafford on July 16, 2004, and she survives.
Kevin attended Bedford North Lawrence High School. He was a self-employed flooring installer for over 30 years, with the last 25 spent working for Mitchell Floor Covering.
Kevin spent his Sundays cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles during football season. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was the best pappy/pap pap and was loved by his grandchildren.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Lora Andis; son, Shane (Shayla) Andis; daughter, Morgan (Levi) Smith; three grandchildren, Halle Harris, Jakobi Andis, and Henley Smith; sister, Terri (Bruce) Miller; several nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved dog, Lucy, who was always by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Edward “Ed” Andis.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Limestone Chapel of George Funeral Care, at 527 15th Street, in Bedford, with Pastor Tom Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Dive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday at the Limestone Chapel, Bedford.
Memorial contributions may be made to the White River Humane Society in memory of Kevin Andis.
