BEDFORD – A 21-year-old Lawrence County man was taken into custody Saturday following a domestic disturbance that reportedly left a woman injured and her bedroom in disarray.
Isaiah Marcus Reynolds, 21, faces multiple charges including a Level 6 Felony after an incident at a residence on Williams Road.

The Lawrence County Police Department responded to the home on March 21, 2026, after receiving a 911 call from a neighboring residence. The female caller, had reportedly fled her own home to seek help while suffering a panic attack.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed by Officer Kenton Carter, the victim told police that Isaiah Reynolds, became “extremely angry” and began striking objects in the house. When she tried to barricade herself in her bedroom, Reynolds allegedly kicked the door open.
Once inside the bedroom, the victim stated that Reynolds broke a glass object and shoved her with both hands into a television, knocking it over. The female victim reported pain in her right tricep as a result of the fall.
The situation escalated when the victim attempted to call for help. According to the report Reynolds allegedly threatened to kill her.
He reportedly seized her phone and threw it, preventing her from completing a 911 call. Police later recovered the phone and confirmed it displayed an attempted 911 call from the time of the struggle.
Upon arrival, Officers Carter and Michael Martin found the bedroom littered with broken glass and a overturned television. A lethality assessment conducted with the victim indicated multiple “high-risk” factors.
Initially, Reynolds denied any physical contact or threats. However, after being read his Miranda rights, he reportedly admitted to kicking the door open and breaking the glass. During a follow-up interview before being transported to jail, police say Reynolds admitted that he did shove the woman during the confrontation.
Reynolds was arrested on-site and booked into the Lawrence County Security Center on the following preliminary charges of intimidation, domestic battery and interfering with reporting a crime.
