MORGAN CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is scheduled to reduce the speed limit on State Road 39 on or after Tuesday, March 24, in Martinsville.
The speed limit will be reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph between Rodgers Road and Hacker Drive. The change is being made to enhance safety, improve consistency, and accommodate both the pedestrian traffic in the area and the corridor’s overall traffic flow.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
