BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence senior Dax Short was named to the All-Hoosier Hills Conference First Team by the league coaches.
Short averaged 14.7 points and 4.3 rebounds for the Stars, who finished with a 6-17 record. He bumped the scoring average to 17.3 against the six teams in the league.
Other members of the First Team included New Albany’s Noah Washington, Karson Stoudemire and T.J. Washington; Columbus East’s Keaton Lawson; Jeffersonville’s Terrence Nord and Elijah Cheek; Seymour’s Nate Fritsch; Floyd Central’s Carter McQuigg; and Jennings County’s Jeremiah Davis.
New Albany won the league title with a 6-0 record.
