SULLIVAN COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures for State Road 48 in Sullivan County.
Beginning on or around Monday, March 16, crews will begin lane closures on State Road 48 near Hymera. Lane closures will occur between County Road N 375 E and County Road N 475 E over the West Fork of Busseron Creek.
Lane closures will allow for a bridge deck overlay project. This project is expected to last through May, depending on the weather.
One lane of traffic will remain open during this project. Traffic flow will be controlled with a temporary traffic signal. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
