June 18, 1938 – February 20, 2026

Jerry L. Reynolds, 87, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born June 18, 1938, in Bedford, he was the son of Joseph “Albert” Reynolds and Daisy P. Prewitt. He married Betty Bradford on April 28, 1956, and she preceded him in death on July 30, 2021.

Jerry retired from NSWC Crane after 30 years of employment. He had attended the Bedford High School and had two associate degrees from Ivy Tech. He was of the Christian faith. Jerry loved spending time with his family and caring for them. Gardening and being outdoors were always favorite parts of his life. From the age of seven to 13, he passed papers on the east side of Bedford. When he was 13, due to them witnessing his hard work, he was offered a job by the owner of JayC Foods. At 18, he became a member of the Carpenter’s Union and later ran a sales route for RC Cola in Virginia and Bedford. Jerry was not afraid of hard work!
