JASPER – Bedford North Lawrence sophomore Sabrina Lipp earned the top seed in the 50-yard freestyle during the IHSAA sectional preliminaries in girls high school swimming action on Thursday.
Lipp touched the wall first in 25.57 seconds. The winner of each event during Saturday’s championship race will earn an automatic berth in the IHSAA state finals on Feb. 13 in Indianapolis.
BNL’s Ava Lipp is seeded second in the 100 backstroke in 1:04.88. Jasper’s Ella Wagner is the top seed in that event in 1:03.54.
