BEDFORD — Special Olympics Indiana Lawrence County is recognizing local businesses and organizations for their support during the 2025 season, crediting community generosity with helping athletes grow through sports, inclusion, and personal achievement.
Special Olympics Indiana Lawrence County provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The local program offers multiple sports throughout the year and depends on volunteers, coaches, and community partners to serve athletes and their families. It operates as part of Special Olympics Indiana, which serves thousands of athletes statewide and promotes confidence, physical fitness, social inclusion, and joy through sport.
