Nancy J. Marshall, 70, of Orleans, passed away at 10:33 PM on February 3, 2026, at her home.
She was born on February 11, 1955, in Trinidad, Colorado, the daughter of Robert J. and Jeanette M. (Hoadley) Crocfer. She married Charles ‘Chuck” E. Marshall, Jr. on October 21, 1978, and he preceded her in death.
She was an RN and worked at IU Health Bedford Emergency Room for forty-seven years. She was an avid gardener and loved spending time outside, whether gardening, planting flowers, swimming, or fishing with her husband. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to sporting events with them.
Nancy is survived by one son; Adam (Jamie) Marshall of Orleans, IN; one daughter, Jodi (Daniel) Bridges of Orleans, IN; two grandchildren, Blake and Kennedy Marshall; along with a brother and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jeanette Crocfer, and brother and sisters.
The funeral will be on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home in Orleans with Pastor Mark Fugate officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Orleans, Indiana. Friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
