Randy ‘Joe’ Eads, 65 of Bedford passed away on January 18, 2026, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Joe was born in Bedford on July 24, 1960, to Merle Lee Eads and Loretta Mae (Ray) Eads. Joe was a loving, caring, giving, and deeply respectful man. He was very soft spoken yet full of wisdom and strength. He loved Rachel with all of his heart and soul, and he loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply.
Joe was a true builder. With Rachel alongside him, he built their home with his own hands. Any piece of wood he touched, he could turn into something beautiful. If you needed help, he was there steady, kind, and dependable. Joe did not need many words. His life, his love, and his actions spoke for him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Survivors include his wife Rachel Eads, six children, Brandy Eads, George Eads, Anthony (Caitlin) Carrico, Bobbisue Carrico, Elena (Chris) Sutton, Tiffany (Beji) Freeman, one brother, Ronnie Eads, grandchildren, Micaela Eads, Mikenzi (Stacie) Elliott, Stormie Eads, Patricia Staggs, Brayson, Drea Allen, Mavis Carrico, Bentley Donahue, Mary Bell Donahue, Emma Donahue, Ameila Donahue, Nova Sutton, Dawson Sutton, Matthew Sutton, Dayson Cox, William Freeman, and Anthony Freeman, great granddaughter, Adessa Mae Wright, two favorite nephews, Ryan Eads, and Austin Eads.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dennis Eads, and Steve Eads, son-in-law, Scott Elliott, his father and mother-in-law, Anthony and Shirley Flynn.
