BLOOMINGTON – Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington, in partnership with the Department of the Air Force (DAF), is offering a new one-course pathway that introduces students to military life and prepares them for enlisted service. The 8-week Homeland Security / Public Safety DAF Enlisted Training Corps course begins March 16, 2026, and will be held two days per week in the evenings. Some benefits to completing the course include preferred job placement, credits that count toward Air Force ROTC training, and an opportunity for an advanced enlisted rank.
Course credits count toward an associate degree in homeland security / public safety and general studies.
