Brian Prince announces his candidacy for Lawrence County Council District 4

BEDFORD – Brian Prince has announced his candidacy for Lawrence County Council District 4.

Brian and his wife, Kelli, are parents of four sons and grandparents of six grandchildren. Brian is a 1988 graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School where he lettered in cross country, wrestling, track and field and was a member of FFA . Upon graduating, Brian received a Cross country/track and field scholarship to Vincennes University where he studied Conservation Law Enforcement.

Upon leaving Vincennes University, he worked for General Electric Appliance Division for 10 years, then started a career in water treatment at Bedford City Utilities as a licensed water treatment plant operator until his retirement with over 21 years of service for the city of Bedford.

Brian currently works for PSARA Technologies, an environmental engineering consulting firm. His position at PSARA Technologies is managing three industrial wastewater treatment plants in Monroe County.

Brian was an eleven year 4-H volunteer serving on the poultry, rabbit, and goat committee and a rabbit barn chairman for six years, served 6 years, for two terms, on the Lawrence County 4-H Council representing Marion Township. Also served one year on the Lawrence County Purdue Extension Board.

“Having spent many years dealing with state and federal agencies, EPA and IDEM, on regulations and compliance guidelines throughout my professional career, also setting yearly budgets and having to stay within those budgets while managing three water plants, I feel this ,qualifies me to serve on the Lawrence County Council representing District 4 and all Lawrence County citizens. I would appreciate your vote and support on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in the primary election.”
