Sherry Jean Hawkins, 68, of Springville, passed away on December 20, 2025.
She was born to Harold ‘Gene’ and Sharon (Todd) Thompson on September 30, 1957. She married Larry Hawkins on October 14, 1977. Together, they have ministered to the congregation of Oak Grove Pentecostal Church for 35 years.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Larry; a son, Jeremy Hawkins; her parents; her mother-in-law, Vernie Hawkins; sisters, Kim (Bill) Borden, Leah Leahy and Jackie (Bryan) Turner; grandchildren, Baylee, Neil, Jaelynn, Jayden and Jasen and a large and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Max Hawkins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27th at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church in Springville with Bro. Keith Thompson and Bro. Bruce Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26th and from Noon until the hour of service on Saturday, all at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery.
