VIGO COUNTY- Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation after receiving information that a female, under the age of 14, had been molested.
The investigation revealed that Jesse C. Samm, 36, of Pimento, Indiana, allegedly molested a female under the age of 14. He was arrested on a charge of child molesting, a Level 1 felony.
After reviewing the investigation, the Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office requested an arrest warrant for Samm. Vigo County Superior Court granted an arrest warrant on December 15, 2025. Samm was arrested today by Troopers Chandler Stanton and Hunter Givens of the Putnamville State Police Post without incident. He is currently being held in the Vigo County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
