INDIANA – Tonya Hudson is seeking the Libertarian nomination for the 2026 candidacy of the U.S. House of Representatives, Indiana’s District 9.

The Libertarian Party of Indiana (LPIN) will have its annual convention in March 2026. If nominated, Tonya is looking forward to many town halls, debates with her opponents, and attending as many public events as possible in her district with her “for the people” outlook.
Hudson is a realtor with Suddarth & Company Real Estate. As a real estate broker in Southern Indiana, she has been privileged to work with individuals from many walks of life. She understands how the policies of both the current and previous administrations have not been working for Hoosiers.
“I know the problems created in Washington, D.C. by the broken two-party system are no helping the people in Indiana who have to work so hard to make ends meet. The strict regulations and high taxes placed on the citizenry by the duopoly, led by a Republican majority, is a hindrance and hardship for individuals, farmers and small businesses”, Hudson said.
At the LPIN Convention in March of 2023, Tonya Hudson was elected as the Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party of Indiana and stepped down from that office on 7/21/23 to run for Lt. Governor in 2024 alongside Donald Rainwater for Governor. Hudson (formerly Tonya Millis) was the 2020 and 2022 Libertarian candidate for U.S. House of Representatives in Indiana’s 9th District (Tonya for Congress).
