Marla Jean Clark, 75, of Bedford, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford.
Born July 7, 1950, in San Diego, CA, she was the daughter of Ralph Lowell and Beatrice Nadine (Woosley) Hack. Marla was a 1968 graduate of Tunnelton High School and attended Vincennes University. Marl had a son, Jeremy Clark, and a sister, Carol.
Marla worked at GM Powertrain in Bedford for 30 years in production before retiring in 2006. Marla was a member of the UAW Local 440 and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching crime shows, Suits, and scary movies, and traveling to Ireland, Alaska, and Hawaii. She loved dogs, especially her dog Lucy.
She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Marla is survived by her close friends, Jay and Lori Brown, Derick Irwin, and Dane and Casey Irwin and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Beatrice Hack, her Uncle and Aunt who raised her, Bub and Gladys Horner.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, 818 18th St, Bedford, IN 47421, with Rev Josh Caplinger officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 20,25 and Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from Noon to time of service, both at Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marla’s memory to the White River Humane Society.
