BARTHOLOMEW CO. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc. plans to conduct temporary lane and ramp closures on I-65 to perform bridge approach repair work in Bartholomew County.
The temporary lane and ramp closures, previously scheduled to begin this Friday, November 21, have been postponed due to weather. Additional schedule information will be provided as it becomes available.
Crews will close the right lanes of northbound and southbound I-65 over U.S. 31, as well as the southbound I-65 off-ramp to southbound U.S. 31 at Exit 76 in Taylorsville. The lane and ramp closures are expected to remain in place for up to 2 days, weather permitting.
This work is part of a contract awarded to E&B in February 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
