Charlotte “Kay” Pruett, 74, of Williams, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Kay was born to Pete and Lou (Collins) Abel in French Lick on February 16, 1951. Kay married John Pruett in Jacksonville, Florida, on September 2, 1969, and he survives.
Kay was a graduate of Oolitic High School. She was a homemaker and the Pastor of the Shiloh Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include her husband, John Pruett, one daughter, Lisa Hughes, one son, Louis Pruett, three grandchildren, Olyvia Pruett, Alexis Hughes, and Darrell Hughes, three brothers, Garrett Abel, David Abels, Terry Abel, one sister, Kathy Cornwell.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Eugene, Ralph, Robert, Larry, Max, and Bill, and two sisters, Alice and Joy.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh Christian Fellowship, 7821 State Road 158, Bedford, Indiana. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from Noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the church.
