Michelle D. Kemp, 66 of Salem, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.
She was born May 17, 1959, in Bedford to Sherry (Mundy) Stearns and Robert Stearns. She was a 1977 graduate of Mitchell High School.
Surviving are two daughters, Amber Achelpohl, Abby Achelpohl, and her mother, Sherry (Mundy) Stearns, one sister, Kelly Barlow, five grandchildren, Jaylon Hall, Preston Hall, Carter Achelpohl, Colten Achelpohl, and Aspen Achelpohl.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alan Stearns and Bobby Stearns, grandmother, Ola Mundy, and father, Robert Stearns.
At her request, cremation was chosen, and no services are planned at this time.
