Donna J. George Holmes, 78, of Bedford, passed on November 9, 2025, at the Indiana University Health Hospice House, Bloomington.
Born March 9, 1947, in Heltonville, she was the daughter of Clyde Norman and Blanche (Ramsey) Norman.
She married Larry W. Holmes on April 1, 2014, and he passed away on June 22, 2022, preceding her in death.
Donna worked at RCA, Dana Corp., Baxter Pharmaceutical Solution, and the Moose Lodge.
Donna was a lifetime Member of the Moose Lodge #801, Bedford, Indiana, having been a member since 1974.
Surviving are her children, C. Darin (Donna K.) George, Patricia Anne George, and Marty Ray (Rhonda) George; grandchildren, Dustin George and Derek (Abby) George; great grandchildren, Hudson George and Kellen George; brother, Ed Norman; step-son, Brad Holmes; step-grandchildren, Brandon Lundy, Christopher (Sarah) Lundy, Austin (Jalynn)Holmes, Katelyn (Kirk) Stewart, Autumn Holmes, Gatlin Holmes, and Kaleb Holmes; several step great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jerry Sipes; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Jeremy) Kyle; and brother-in-law, Robert Holmes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents, Clyde and Blanche Norman; her sisters, Colleen Sipes, Sharon Kinser, Linda Norman, and Janis Alexander; and her stepson, J.R. Holmes.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Limestone Chapel of George Funeral Care, 527 15th Street, Bedford, Indiana. Burial will follow in the Bartlettsville Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour at the Limestone Chapel, Bedford.
