Santos Z. Griego (JR), 47, of Sylmar, CA, formerly of Bedford, IN, passed away on October 28, 2025.
Born March 13, 1978, in Pacoima, CA, he was the son of Santos P. and Cynthia (Rojas) Griego. He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School in the class of 1996 and attended Shepherd Church in Porter Ranch. He was an electrician and started his own company, Active Construction, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA. He loved sports, baseball (Dodgers), football (Raiders), basketball (Lakers), and enjoyed playing golf. He enjoyed spending time with his son, grandchildren, and other family members.
Survivors include a son, Matthew Griego; grandchildren, Mason, Mia, and Miley Griego; sisters, Connie Griego, Renee Medellin, and her husband, David, and Maria Banks and husband, Jerry; nieces and nephews, BreAuna Springett (DJ), David Medellin, Kiana Brown, Ariah Medellin, Addie Banks and Brock Banks; great nieces, Aubriella and Emery Springett; great-nephew, Caleb Springett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8th, at Angeleno Mortuary, 5948 Van Nuys Blvd., Van Nuys, CA 91401. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the mortuary.

The family requests attendees wear Dodger apparel in honor of Santos.
