Bloomington City Council schedules Deliberation Session focused solely on housing policy

BLOOMINGTON – The City of Bloomington Common Council has scheduled a Deliberation Session for next week, dedicating the entire meeting to a community conversation on local housing.

The meeting, formally titled “Community Conversation: Housing Inquiries-Policy and Direction,” is set for Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.

The public is invited to attend the meeting in person at the Council Chambers (#115), located in the Showers Building at 401 North Morton Street.

For those who wish to observe remotely, the session will be accessible via a Zoom link. Remote attendees should note that they will not be able to participate in the breakout group discussions. Still, they can observe the full-group portions of the agenda and provide comments via the Zoom chat or a provided Google form.

The Common Council meeting will also be broadcast on Community Action Television Services (CATS) and the city’s official YouTube channel.
