BROWNSTOWN — The Jackson County Office is kicking off its fourth annual food drive to support local food pantries during the holiday season.
Donations will be accepted from Monday, November 17, through Monday, December 15, in the lobby of the Jackson County Courthouse, located at 111 South Main St., Brownstown. Donation boxes will be placed around the Christmas tree for community members to drop off items.
Requested donations include dry cereal, canned pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, hot chocolate, and spaghetti sauce.
All contributions will help stock the shelves of local food pantries in time for Christmas, ensuring that families in need have access to essential food items during the holidays.
