Terry Manning, 72, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at her residence.
Born December 26, 1952, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Paul Ritchison and Betty (Williams) Thomas. She married Gene Manning on November 5, 1999, and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2016. She was a homemaker and a member of the Moose Lodge #689.
Survivors include a daughter Stormy Prince and husband, Robert, of Bedford; a son, Freddie Padgett and wife Alisha, of Bedford; six grandchildren, Kaitlynn (Justin) Deckard, Mariah (Isaiah) Flinn, McKenzie (Ashton) Gholson, Chandler (Kayla) Padgett, Caleb Stivers, and Kaitlynn Stivers; three great-grandchildren, Aaron Deckard, Cohen Hamm, Graham Flinn; three brothers, Mike (Denise) Ritchison, of Decatur, Ralph (Denise) Ritchison, of Mitchell, and Nick Ritchison, of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Chris Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27th, and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
