SHOALS— East Fork Water, Inc. issued an immediate Boil Water Advisory today, October 21, for customers residing East of State Road 450 on Dover Hill Road and the surrounding areas, including the Bellgrade area, following an interruption of water service.
The utility, based in Shoals, stated that the boil order is effective immediately and will remain in place for the next few days, until further notice.
Affected customers must vigorously boil all water for three minutes before use. After cooking, the water should be cooled and refrigerated.
Boiled or bottled drinking water must be used for:
- Drinking
- Brushing teeth
- Diluting fruit juices
- All other food preparation
Customers may use bottled drinking water as an alternative to boiling. East Fork Water, Inc. is located at 213 S. Main St. – P.O. Box 488, Shoals, IN 47581-0488.
