LAWRENCE CO. – Motorists in the area are advised to anticipate temporary delays next week as the Highway Department begins work to replace several aging culverts on Pinhook Road and Cassidy Lane. The projects are scheduled to take place over three days, with roads reopening immediately upon completion of the work each day.
Pinhook Road Closures
Work on Pinhook Road will focus on replacing three separate culverts located between Goosetown Road and Gunsmith Road. The schedule for this work is as follows:
- Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Travelers should plan for potential midday closures or detours in this section of Pinhook Road on these three mornings.
Cassidy Lane Closures
Culvert replacement on Cassidy Lane is scheduled for the first two days of the week, with slightly longer expected work hours:
- Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Drivers on Cassidy Lane should expect the road to be closed for the majority of the morning and early afternoon on Monday and Tuesday.
The Highway Department reminds residents that roads will reopen to traffic as soon as construction equipment is removed and the work is deemed safe for public travel. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes during the scheduled work times.
