James A. “Jim Buck” Horner, 74 of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Bedford on August 31, 1951, to James Horner and Vada Jean (Sherrill) Horner. James married Anita Rodman on July 1, 1992, and she survives.
James retired in 2020 from General Motors in Bedford. He was a graduate of Tunnelton High School, he was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of the UAW Local #440 in Bedford.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Horner of Bedford, one son, James Donovan (J.D.) Horner of Bedford, one sister, Jill (Bob) Green of Illinois, sister-in-law: Barbara (Daniel) Brooks of Mitchell, two brothers-in-law: Theodore Rodman, Jr., and Randall Rodman, two aunts, Betty Brown, and Mary (Lou) Romolo.
