BEDFORD — 102.5 LiteFM is giving listeners a chance to win tickets to the Fayetteville Community Lions Club Ham & Bean Supper, set for Saturday, Oct. 11, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Fayetteville Baptist Church.
The annual supper is a community tradition, serving up ham and beans, coleslaw, cornbread, potatoes, hot dogs, desserts, and drinks. Proceeds support the Lions Club’s community service projects, including scholarships, park improvements, and vision screenings. Children age six and under eat free, while adult tickets are normally $8 in advance and $9 at the door.
Listeners can enter LiteFM’s giveaway by sending a message through the station’s Facebook Messenger with the words “Ham & Beans,” along with their first and last name and phone number. Winners will be drawn randomly on Wednesday, Oct. 8, and contacted through Messenger.
The giveaway tickets are physical and must be picked up at LiteFM’s studios, located at 424 Heltonville Road in Bedford, before the event.
The Lions Club supper often draws a large crowd, not only for the food but also for its role in supporting local causes. The giveaway provides a chance for families to enjoy the meal together while helping strengthen the Fayetteville community.
