BARTHOLOMEW CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces upcoming short-term lane closures on the State Road 46 Robert N. Stewart Bridge over Flatrock River for routine bridge inspection work in Columbus.

Beginning on or after Monday, October 6, eastbound S.R. 46 will be reduced from three lanes to two lanes over Flatrock River. Inspection crews will begin work in the right lane of S.R. 46 and complete work in the left lane. Work is expected to take up to four days, weather permitting.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
