George Cunnington, 77, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Born November 17, 1947, in Hartford City, he was the son of Charles David Cunnington and Wilma June Teegarden.
He was a graduate of Swayzee High School and was a retired tool and die maker at General Motors in Bedford, IN. George was an attendee at Cowboy Church and had a lifelong love of horses, cattle, and camping. He was also a proud Corvette enthusiast.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his two sons, Glen Cunnington and Thomas (Jill) Cunnington; one granddaughter, Amanda Baker; and two great-grandchildren, Carli and Liam Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles David Cunnington and Wilma June Teegarden; his sister, Diana Taylor, and one brother, Charles Cunnington.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, 818 18th Street, Bedford, Indiana, with Pastor Philip Thorne officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
