BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Commissioners will meet Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 9:30 a.m. to review contracts, payroll, and departmental updates.
The agenda includes approval of minutes from the Sept. 23 regular meeting, along with claims and payroll. Commissioners are expected to consider appointments for Nedra Brock-Fleetwood and Jenny Dearwester, who is connected to the SIDC Housing Rehab Project.
Other items include a snow removal contract with Flynn & Sons and reports from Highway Superintendent Brian Sowder, Emergency Management Director Valerie Luchauer, and Sheriff Greg Day, who will present a commissary report.
The agenda also lists a discussion of the sheriff’s employee contract under unfinished business.
The meeting will be held at the Lawrence County Courthouse and is open to the public. Officials noted the agenda is subject to change.
