Wesley Lee Woods, of Bedford, passed away at 5:07 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
Born May 17, 2024, in Bloomington, he was the son of Tyson Lee Woods and Riley M. Deon.
Surviving with his parents is a baby sister, Haysley Marie Woods, due in February, his paternal grandparents, Kristie Phillips, and Eric Woods, of Bedford; his maternal grandmothers, , April Deon, of Bedford, Jennifer Fields, of Bedford; aunts and uncles, Carrie and Bobby Cook, Jonathon Phillips and Kyra, Makensie Woods, C.J. Woods, Kyndal Woods, Ryan Woods, Spencer Deon, Bobby Woods, and Faith Deon; great-grandparents, Johnny and Karen Phillips, of Bedford, Shelly and Scott Whalley, Glen and Vickie Woods, Fred Payton, and Clyde Deon; a great-great-grandmother, Iva White; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Tessa Payton and Debra Deon; great-grandparents, Don and Patty Stalker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary, with Pastor Reno Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
