BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Commissioners are scheduled to convene on September 23, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. for their regular meeting. The agenda includes department reports and the consideration of several contracts.
The meeting will start with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by the approval of minutes from the September 9 regular meeting, as well as the approval of claims and payroll.
Scheduled appointments for the meeting are Paula Edwards for Health Department contract approvals and Martha Arnold-Turner for a Debarment and Suspension Attestation.
Department reports will be presented by Brian Sowder of the Highway Department, who is bringing an agreement for a Federal Aid Contract. Valerie Luchauer from Emergency Management will also give a report. Additionally, Sheriff Greg Day will present a TimeKeeping Systems Contract for consideration.
The meeting will conclude after addressing any unfinished old business and a motion for adjournment. The agenda is noted as being subject to change.
