BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Highway Department has announced its road paving schedule for the coming days. The following roads will be closed to traffic while work is being completed:
- Today, September 17: Georgia Firetower Road
- Thursday, September 18: Liberty Church Road, from the 500 block to the County Line
- Friday, September 19: Winegar Road, from Old Vincennes to the Cemetery
Motorists should plan to use alternate routes, as the roads will be closed during the paving process. The Highway Department thanked the public for their patience as they work to improve the roads of Lawrence County.
