Introducing TeachingBooks for Schools webinar

INDIANAPOLIS – On Thursday, Oct. 23, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., the Indiana State Library will host “Introducing TeachingBooks for Schools.”

During the free 45-minute webinar, members of the TeachingBooks staff will explore time-saving teaching tools for teachers, including video and audio recordings with authors, lessons, book trailers, and vocabulary lists available on the platform. Attendees will also discover ways to deepen their connections to books through online materials that engage readers and support families, and facilitate collaboration.

TeachingBooks is an ever-expanding database of digital resources about children’s and young adult books, as well as their authors and illustrators. TeachingBooks strives to enable all readers to deepen their understanding and enjoyment of the books they read, fostering a lifelong love of reading.
