Sarah C. Kirbey, 77, of Springville, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by her family and beloved cats.
She was born on October 10, 1947, in New Albany, Indiana, to Courtney “Court” and Mary Crecelius Pindell. She married Joseph Gene Kirbey, and he preceded her in death.
Sarah was a high school graduate and a homemaker.
Her son and daughter-in-law survive Sarah, Michael, and Robin Robertson, along with her grandchildren, Jeremy Robertson, Stefanie (Blaine) Webster, Dylan (Sarah) Robertson, and Gabby (Austin) Key; and great-grandchildren, Lillian and Pheonix Robertson, Peyton Hunt, James and Wyatt Webster, and Hayden, Everleigh, Dexton, Braylee, and Jaxson Key.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Courtney “Court” and Mary Pindell, and her husband, Joseph Gene Kirbey.
Cremation was chosen, and there will be no services at this time.
The caring staff of Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the care and arrangements for Mrs. Kirbey.
