SCOTT COUNTY – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc., is scheduled to close State Road 203 just south of Lexington on or after Monday, September 8, to complete a small structure replacement project in Scott County.
The closure will take place between East Tank Pond Road and South Westport Road just north of State Road 362. State Road 203 is expected to reopen in mid-October, weather permitting.
During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows S.R. 362 to S.R. 3 to S.R. 356.
This project is part of a contract awarded to E&B Paving in September 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
