JACKSON CO. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor RAM Construction Services of Michigan, Inc. is scheduled to begin a bridge painting project on State Road 250 over I-65 on or after Monday, August 25, in Jackson County.
Bridge painting work will take place on S.R. 250 over I-65, located just east of US 31 in Uniontown. Work is expected to be complete in mid-September, weather permitting.
Temporary traffic signals will be used on S.R. 250 while work is in progress and will be activated on or after Thursday, August 21, reducing S.R. 250 to one lane. Nightly single lane closures will be used on I-65 at Exit 41 (between MM 40 and MM 42) while work is in progress.
This project is part of a contract awarded to RAM Construction in December 2024.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
