BLOOMINGTON — Several Monroe County government buildings, including the Justice Building at 7th and College, were closed on Tuesday and will remain shut down until Thursday, according to an alert issued by the county.
The closure, which also affects the Fiscus, Curry, and Johnson Hardware buildings, is to allow for maintenance to remediate previously identified mold activity. Normal operations are expected to resume on Thursday, August 21.
All divisions of the Monroe Circuit Court, including the Prosecutor’s Office, Public Defender, Probation, and Clerk, are also closed during this time.
Individuals with scheduled court hearings or probation appointments are advised to contact the appropriate office on Thursday morning to reschedule.
