INDIANA – Ford is recalling more than 312,000 vehicles due to a potential problem with the power brake system, which could increase stopping distance and raise the risk of a crash. The recall affects certain 2025 Ford F-150, Bronco, and Ranger trucks, as well as the 2025 Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition SUVs.
The carmaker stated that the Electronic Brake Booster module in these vehicles may lose power while driving. If this module malfunctions while the Advanced Driver Assistance System is activated, the car may not brake as expected.
The affected vehicles were manufactured between November 9, 2023, and June 20, 2025. Ford plans to address the issue by updating the Electronic Brake Booster module software. This update will be provided free of charge, either over-the-air or through a visit to a dealership.
